Chelsea have agreed to sell academy graduate Harvey Vale to Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq. Vale, 20, has spent the last two seasons on loan at Hull City and Bristol Rovers. Al Ettifaq has offered Vale a higher salary than what he currently earns at Stamford Bridge. However, Vale is taking his time to make a decision as he is also attracting interest from clubs in England and Europe. The move to Al-Ettifaq would allow Vale to work with head coach Steven Gerrard but would mean moving away from his family at a young age. Vale had a successful 2022, winning Chelsea’s academy player of the year award and captaining England to victory in the European Under-19 Championship.
